Please join us for lunch and to meet and network with Cornell alums and guests involved in the greater Chicago real estate community. Drew Friestedt and Ryan Folger will share their experience and discuss the challenges of implementing a new live, work, play environment—the Roosevelt Collection—during the challenging times of the past several years. Their presentation and the discussion will cover both what has worked and what has not gone as planned.

Vic Pildes is Vice President of Development at Centrum Properties, having joined the company in 2008, and is responsible for development management of The Roosevelt Collection. Mr. Pildes obtained a graduate degree in architecture from the University of Michigan, and is a licensed architect with over 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Centrum, he was Vice President of Development for The Westfield Group, and prior to that he was Vice President of Development for JMB / Urban Retail Properties Company.

Ryan Folger is Construction Manager for the Roosevelt Collection Project responsible for day-to-day oversight of the General Contractor including review and authorization of the $225 million construction budget, directing consultants and contractor on construction related issues. Previously, he was Project Manager for Toll Brothers Inc. where he managed residential developments in the suburbs of Chicago. Mr. Folger is is an active member of both the American Institute of Architects and the Urban Land Institute. In 2004, he received his MBA from the Cornell University Johnson School of Management. He also holds a Bachelors of Architecture from Cornell.
